Wer alten Rocksteady mag, kommt hier sowas von auf seine Kosten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Aufnahme im Sixtiesstyle. Was soviel heisst, wie: Alle Musiker spielen die Aufnahme gleichzeitig und im selben Raum ein. Ausser den Drums kommen immer zwei Instrumente auf eine Aufnahmespur, da fr\u00fcher meist 4 oder 8-Spur Recordings gemacht wurden und da sind nunmal nicht so viele Mics benutzbar. Die dadurch entstehenden sogenannten &#8222;\u00dcbersprechungen&#8220; machen dabei den ganz besonderen Sound aus. Ich hab mich immer gefragt, warum niemand diese rootsige Technik wiederbelebt. War ich also entsprechend erfreut und ich glaub, das merkt man auch daran, dass ich sehr viele Tunes des Albums verwertet habe. Obwohl oder auch vielleicht gerade weil die Songs nicht wirklich gemastert sind, ist Inselfeeling garantiert. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/saucyhorn.bandcamp.com\/album\/riddim-riot\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3936\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saetche.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/252Saucyhorn.jpg\" alt=\"252Saucyhorn\" width=\"700\" height=\"700\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3936\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.saetche.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/252Saucyhorn.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.saetche.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/252Saucyhorn-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.saetche.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/252Saucyhorn-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aus dem letzten Sommer ist die auf dem zypriotischen Netlabel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dubophonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dubophonic<\/a> erschienene &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/dubophonic.bandcamp.com\/album\/simona\" target=\"_blank\">Simona<\/a>&#8220; LP des argentinischen Br\u00fcderduos The Dubbstyle. Ich bin mir allerdings sicher, dass es nicht lange dauern wird, bis da bei Irie Ites ein Irie Worryah Vinyl herauskommen wird. Das passt einfach zu gut zusammen. <\/p>\n<p>Weil wir gerade bei Remixen sind, sei an dieser Stelle die Rework LP &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/svaha.bandcamp.com\/album\/ultra-k-ult-to-dub\" target=\"_blank\">Ultra K ult to Dub<\/a>&#8220; von Ultra K erw\u00e4hnt. Das der K\u00fcnstler schon mit 16 angefangen hat Melodica zu spielen, ist aber weniger bekannt. Die neueste Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Franzosen heisst &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/artx.bandcamp.com\/album\/under-mi-kultcha-feat-the-roots-addict\" target=\"_blank\">Under mi Culture<\/a>&#8220; und wird vocal unterst\u00fctzt von Roots Addict. Hat was. <\/p>\n<p>Fast schon klassischen Rootsdigidub bietet Cantti aus Sankt Petersburg auf seiner zweiten LP &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/cantti.bandcamp.com\/album\/young-warriors\" target=\"_blank\">Young Worriors<\/a>&#8220; an. Das f\u00e4ngt schon beim Namen an. &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/dystopiandubdiscotheque.bandcamp.com\/album\/a-little-adventure-in-unconventional-dub\" target=\"_blank\">A little Adventure in unconventional Dub<\/a>&#8220; ist der Name des Longplayers und die Band nennt sich <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dystopiandubdiscotheque.com\/doku.php\" target=\"_blank\">Dystopian Dub Discotheque<\/a>. Da hat wohl jemand etwas viel vom Zaubertrank genascht. Ich w\u00e4re jedenfalls vorsichtig und w\u00fcrde die psychothropen Substanzen beim h\u00f6ren vielleicht erstmal weglassen.
